There are songs that inspire, songs that when you hear them they touch your feelings and wake up thoughts and memories on you. There is always a song for every mood, songs that make you feel happy or that make you cry.
I love this song by Passenger called Let her go, and it is just the soundtrack that sounds inside me right now.

Find your denim jacket

One of the must haves for this SS season is the denim jacket, perfect for those days that the sun doesn’t shine enough or to wear at the evenings when temperatures freshen a little. You can find more than one design in every shop, but my favourites up to now are the one from Only with details on the shoulders and the other from Zara with lapels and in a pale denim color.
You can wear this jacket in many different outfits, but I love the combination with a flowered summer dress, so chic and casual.

Una de las prendas estrella para esta Primavera-Verano es la cazadora vaquera, y se lleva cortita. Es perfecta para esos días que no aprieta tanto el calor o para ponérsela al atardecer cuando empieza a refrescar un poquito.
Podéis encontrarla en diferentes modelos, ya que todas las tiendas tienen más de una, así que no hay excusa para encontrar aquella que mejor encaje con nuestro estilo. A mi las que más me han gustado hasta ahora son esta de Only con detalles en los hombros y otra de Zara con solapas y en denim clarito.
Además, la podemos combinar casi con cualquier conjunto veraniego, aunque mi favorita es la combinación de chaqueta vaquera y vestido de flores. Chic y desenfadado.

New cupcakes

I have two new cupcake tries to show you. The first one is the capuccino cupcake made with coffe and chocolate muffin and mascarpone buttercream. And the second is the strawberry milkshake cupcake, made with strawberry Nesquick that tastes like icecream, so good.

Tengo dos nuevos cupcakes que enseñaros. El primero es un cupcake de capuccino, con bizcocho de chocolate y café y buttercream de mascarpone. Y el segundo es un cupacke de batido de fresa decorado de dos formas. Este lo he hecho con Nesquick de fresa, sabe a helado de fresa, ¡está riquísimo!!

I’m so happy because we can finally shop Hakei online! I was always waiting when would they open it and I’ve just known that it is working since 9th of May.
I have followed this fashion brand for some time now and I really like its style and quality of their clothes and shoes. If you look into their collection I’m sure that you will fall in love with one of their designs.

¡Por fin podemos comprar Hakei online! Estaba siempre a la espera de que abrieran la tienda online y me acabo de enterar de que está en marcha desde el pasado 9 de Mayo.
Llevo un tiempo siguiendo esta marca de ropa, calzado y complementos y la verdad es que me encanta por su estilo, calidad y diseño. Echad un vistazo a su colección y seguro que veis alguna prenda que os enamora.

The ethnic skirt

We all are used to see the ethnic trend on the shop windows and fashion magazines, but the true is that I’ve never been a huge fan of this trend actually until now, that I’ve discovered the ethnic skirt.
Every shop or brand has its own designs of this type of skirt and I love them all!
I have selected my favourites so you can have an idea of what I’m talking about, and also some pictures of the outfit you can make out of them. I really love the combination of this skirt with a white blouse or t-shirt and also with a denim shirt, it is stylish, becoming and we have many options on the market!

Llevamos ya tiempo viendo en los escaparates y revistas de moda la tendencia llamada étnica, y la verdad que yo no he sido muy fan de esta moda hasta hace poco que he descubierto ¡la falda étcnica! Todas las marcas y tiendas tienen su propio diseño y lo cierto es que ¡me encantan todas!
He hecho una pequeña selección de las que más me gustan y también acompaño algunas fotos de los look que se pueden conseguir con esta prenda. Creo que el conjunto es estiloso, favorecedor y además ¡tenemos mil opciones para elegir en el mercado! ¿Qué más se puede pedir?

I love this skirt from Zara (SS13) in red and pink colors and there are also beautiful skirts in Bershka.
Me encanta este modelo de Zara (SS13) en tonos rojos y también podéis encontrar algunas muy bonitas en Bershka.

For a dressier occasion there are also gorgeous sequined skirts, with paillettes and jewels like the one in the picture.
Para una ocasión más especial hay faldas preciosas con lentejuelas, paillettes y pedrería.

Love season

Spring is the season of love, joy, country, birds, flowers, landscapes, good weather… Well, instead of good weather, let’s say unstable weather, because we have only had a couple of sunny weeks this Spring.
I’m looking forward to feel its warmness on my skin, enjoy the blossom of the trees, go out on the weekend, have a drink with friends on the sun…
It seems that this year our star is being a little lazy, so let’s hope it will shine soon and meanwhile let’s enjoy these spring-like pictures, that will make this monday a little happier..

La primavera es la estación del amor, la alegría, el campo, los pájaros, flores, paisajes, buen tiempo…
Bueno, lo de buen tiempo podemos dejarlo en… inestable. Y es que en lo que llevamos de primavera sólo hemos podido disfrutar de una semana de buen tiempo y sol..
Estoy deseando de que salga por fin y poder sentir su calorcito en la piel, tomar algo en una terraza, hacer excursiones de fin de semana, disfrutar de los paisajes llenos de flores, hacer actividades al aire libre…
Pero como parece que este año nuestra estrella está un poco perezosa, seguiremos esperando a que se anime a salir y a brillar con fuerza. Mientras os traigo estas fotos primaverales que espero nos alegren este lunes.

Scotland, land of legends

We have been visiting some friends here in Scotland for a few days and I’ve been amazed with the beauty of this land. Not only the landscapes and lakes of the Highlands, which are really beautiful, but also the castles, towns, streets and pubs which have an especial touch, and are full of mistery, legends and history. Edinburgh is really one of the most beautiful cities I have visited in Europe.
I think this land is worth of our section Looking for Paradise and I highly recommend you to visit it.

Hemos venido a Escocia a visitar a unos amigos y a pasar unos días por aquí y la verdad que me ha sorprendido la belleza de esta tierra. No solo por los paisajes tan impresionantes de las Highlands y sus lagos sino también por los castillos, pueblos, calles y pubs que tienen un encanto especial, repletos de misterios, leyendas e historia. Edimburgo también es una de las ciudades europeas más bonitas que he visitado.
Por todo esto, creo que Escocia es un buen candidato para esta seccion y espero que tengáis la oportunidad de visitarla pronto.

DIY Painted vases

The other day I found the following DIY on Pinterest and I Ioved it! It is so easy to make and the result is so great!
I would fill my home of flowers in Spring and this is an original way to do it!
You just have to find vases or bottles of different shapes and sizes and paint them on their inside with temperas or wall paintings of the colors you choose.
You just have to remember that once the paint is dried you can’t fill the vase of water because the color would probably fade with the time. Some people use plastic containers inside the vase to put the flowers on water.

El otro día encontré esta manualidad en Pinterest y la verdad que me gustó muchísimo porque además de fácil, el resultado es espectacular! En primavera nos apetece llenar la casa de flores y creo que ésta es una forma muy original de hacerlo!
Solo tenéis que buscar botellas de diferentes formas y tamaños y elegir unas témperas o pinturas de pared del color que más os apetezca. Hay que pintar el interior mezclando la pintura con un poco de agua y darle vueltas hasta que se pinten las paredes por completo.
Una vez que se seque la pintura recordad que no podréis llenar las botellas de agua ya que el color se borraría con el tiempo… He visto que algunos ponen un pequeño tubo de plástico dentro para colocar la flor en agua.
